my 3 favorite G.E.M. s!

I've been wanting to write about them for so long but never seemed to have gotten it done. But now, here it is, the three coolest people I think you should know (more) about...

25 year-old Emma Watson is no stranger to most of the public's ears; famously known for her role as Hermione in the (really successful movie franchise), Harry Potter and is now slowly being recognized for her role in the real world, as regards to Feminism. She was appointed as a UN Goodwill Ambassador back in 2014 and is now promoting gender equality as #HeForShe as her slogan. The British actress despite being within the walls of the movie industry which she had been, for the longest time, exposed to at such a young age didn't settle for just that kind of achievement. She made sure she finished her schooling and graduated with a bachelor's degree in English Literature at Brown University shortly before she became an ambassador for the UN. That's what I like the most about her. She didn't get carried away with the "celeb life" or her popularity, she stayed humble and reminded herself of the things that were of importance. Emma, my idol since 2011 might just be the new Audrey Hepburn, and who knows what else she can achieve?

Drifting a bit away from wands and cloaks, but still with the theme Feminism, we have here fashion, music, and arts enthusiast, Geordie Gray. She's your Instagram feed goals + closet goals + tumblr goals + wow, basically everything goals in one! I found out about her through one of the members of the pop-punk band, 5 Seconds of Summer (5S0S), and let's just say that some relationships just don't work out but hey they're still really good friends ??? Geordie is an Australian teen who inspires many with her wit and undeniably kickass taste in all things indie. She gives me a dose of new songs to listen to, interesting films to watch, and quirky fashion choices I've always wanted to try out for myself. Her tweets are the bomb dot com (do people even say that anymore?) and you should totally check them out! But if there's anything about Geordie Gray that I really know about, it's that she's just a girl who wants to get a 20% discount on cute items! Goodness! Capitalism, you're not winning this time! (Not)

My most recent fave, Megan Batoon! She is the funniest (and maybe even the clumsiest) dancer/vlogger-youtuber/cook (this is where the butter fingers/clumsy hands come in)/half-filipina, 24-year-old girl you will ever encounter. Her videos are the reason why I spend hours on end laughing and smiling at my laptop screen almost every single day. She has swag-ah, "young moolah baby!"(what ???)  kinds of dance moves that has graced the stages of many dance events for the past couple of years. She was once the host of World Of Dance/(weekly) and is now the host of her own online series called, Second Dances via youtube.com. She has danced alongside many famous and renowned dancers/choreographers such as, Scott Forsyth, Brian Puspos, Ellen Kim, D-trix, and many more. One of my all-time-favorite dance videos of her, is Chivalry Is Dead (song by: Trevor Wesley) with her dancer boyfriend, Ian Eastwood! Yes! They're together! And yes! They're "OTP/goals af"! Mainly because it was the video that introduced me to her in the first place. Megan is my dance-spiration, fashion-spiration, joke/pun-spiration, hair goals, body goals, relationship goals, and everything goals. My obsession/fangirling is so bad that I'm actually one of those people who comment "MOM" on her Instagram photos (I dare you to find me there!) Megan Batoon is changing the game right now, sooooo, check her out!

Oh and if you guys haven't figured it out yet, G.E.M = Geordie, Emma, Megan. High five if you got it instantly *wink*.
